Did you happen to be in Ringwood @ approx 4.40pm Tuesaday (turning up Mullum Rd from Warrandyte Rd?
I had just turned left off Mullum onto Warrandyte Rd, then waiting to turn first right down side street (short cut) and saw a white Polo
with bi xenons, sunroof. I was driving my Golf GTI.

Both our Golf & Polo have personalized number plates black BG, White letters....happy with this look on white cars and too expensive to
change them anyway (had them for ages)

We met Gambit for the first time on last Polo cruise, plus some others....yep, a great bunch but not all of us are fellas - haha,

Nah that wasn't me! I've lent my GTI to my sister as I can't drive it for a few months. She said she was still at work at that time. That means we have another GTI around our area!!! Awesome!!

Ohhh, could you pop a photo up please? Might make my decision making a little easier!

Awesome, so we have girls too? My GF and sister are madly fighting over the keys, in that case I might get my GF to drive the Polo next cruise!

Thanks, I had a test drive about two months ago and I was just hooked immediately. Walked into the dealer on EOFY and signed the papers. My car only came off the boat about a week ago. I had a Golf GTi MKV which I had to sell two years ago and I have missed it ever since. Hoping this will fill the void!

Haha I was the exact same. As soon as I test drove one, I knew its exactly what I was after.

It should fill the void. I've driven both. I like the nimbleness of the polo but the golfs motor seems to be more drivable day to day. A tune should fix that LOL have fun!!

Picked up my new Polo GTi today. All I can say is WOW. What a car! So much fun to drive and reflex silver is a gem to look at. My only complaint would be that the Dunlop factory tires IMO don't provide enough protection from gutter rash so I will have to be really carefull. Also the factory stereo isnt half bad. Certainly better than my XR6

Congrats! I've gone from an XR6 as well. Had the GTI for two months and still blown away by the ride. Love it! Not sure if it's the tyres or my crazy driving but had 2 holes already in that time. Besides that all else is gold

Just out of curiosity, what tyres does it originally come with? Dunlop Sport Maxx?

Awaiting my delivery of my GTI, hopefully by next week this time ill be flying down the streets in a little rocket ship...!

The ship with my car just docked in Melbourne, so its only a few days from Sydney now... Still unsure what date I will collect it as I am away in the latter part of the month so it could be Sept, hmm... Anyway, for anyone waiting, its funny seeing the ship in Europe, then down past Africa and then in Durban and then Reunion and finally it suddenly appears in WA and you think 'hmm, i will have to pay for this car soon...' LOL
