Email Notifications Failing (mostly Telstra)
Hello everyone. Seems there is an issue with Telstra (possible others) blocking email from our server. If you are trying to sign up I would suggest a different email if possible. If you're trying to reset your password and it fails please use the Contact Us page:
Bummer! My month old 206TSI with 2,000ks has sprung a leak! Got a warning light about washer fluid level being low. Filled it right up only to notice fluid dripping onto the ground from underneath the front fender on the driver's side. Checked underneath the cap in the engine bay next day and the fluid level had dropped right down even though I hadn't used the wipers at all. Either a crack in the plastic fluid reservoir itself or something's not right with one of the rubber hoses connected to it or the pump has gone awry. Not a big deal, to be sure; however, it's annoying this has happened on a new and relatively expensive car. The thought that they will have to remove the front fender (or more) to reach all the bits doesn't exactly appeal to me, but it is what it is .... German build quality?!
Well now that is interesting, i had to put some water in mine the other day and i dont recall ever having to use the washers since i got the car. Going to check again later.
On another note, coming back from Goulburn to Sydney last week I got 6.4 l/100 matching VWs brochure claim.

What's interesting is that there's no warning light and no leak today. How bizarre! Will definitely mention this later in the week when it goes in for its inspection. Yeah, on the open road the 206TSI sips very little fuel, but in peak hour traffic it's quite the guzzler.
Well i've just lowered my Passat R. I used eibach pro springs and standard shocks, also upgraded the front sway bar links and ive gone for a 24mm adjustable rear sway bar to top it all off.
I'm really looking forward to hitting some corners as soon as I get a wheel alignment.
Just picked up my new R-line, White, Wagon, Sunroof, towbar, weather strips. Very very happy with it so far.
Still playing with everything to get my setup how I want it and playing with all the new gizmos.
Just need to get myself a VCDS cable to expand the options.
The Grand Pearl arrived in Melb on Sat and actually saw it over the Westgate and the heaps of cars out at the docks.... now to decide when to pick it up as I dont need the car yet!...
Does anyone know if you can use the VCDS to adjust the speed at which lane guidance kicks in, or the amount of time before it forces you to take the wheel...?
OK the best iv been able to do is change the effective beds through the the bph screen and remove the warning tones completly or make it constantly tone. I spent ages mucking with this on my b7 with no luck. I'm still lookking into changing the distance between the car in front but having no luck as such. But I'm still trying.
