Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled
After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.
Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

The new forum software is an upgraded version of what came before, it's mostly the same but also a little different. Hopefully easier to use and more stable than before.
We are learning together here, so please be patient. If you have questions, please post them here. If you have worked something out and can provide an answer,

I could get it to do all the stuff, except it wouldn't do the DLA style dance at start-up, just the normal one. It was also a bit slow to react to oncoming cars and cars from behind. It did it, but it was slow. I came to the conclusion that it wasn't quite working as it should and reverted it as I didn't want to blind someone in traffic. I understand from previous posts that the Tigs and some newer cars might already have this programming present, if it doesn't then you might want to look into getting it put in place before using it.
the screenshot below was taken from when a B8 was being activated for DLA, via VCP.
that's how we knew that we needed to do the same thing, but for the Superb.

I'm Perth based with this working in my car (Tig). Fully activated with startup dance included. I activated it via OBD Eleven (no parameters required).
I'm happy to loan you my OBD Eleven if you want to have a crack? Should work on the newer Tiguans but if you have a Passat probably not much use to you.

2019 Tiguan SWB Highline with Sound & Vision and R-Line packs.
All steps completed with OBD Eleven Pro
My 4B coding below, note I already had HBA activated. That includes Central Electrics 09 Byte 2 bits 0 & 1 enabled. Not sure if that would make a difference or not.
Follow the initial linked instructions until you get to module 4B.
My module 4B value: 000000050900084E07104F050A000000000000000000000000 0000000000
Run basic headlight settings then acknowledge, clear the headlight basic setting fault in 4B - noticed the DLA headlight dance at this point.
After that, I went into the Discover Pro, Menu > Vehicle > Factory Defaults > Lights. Then I soft reset the MIB. Turned the ignition off, turned it back on, started the engine, all working.
Something to note is the cornering lights, despite not showing an error, didn't work until I did the above steps.
I'll get out on the road tonight and give it a whirl.
Cleared all the errors as per instructions but when I did a full scan afterwards got 5 faults in control modules They came good after clearing them and they were Light control front left and right, one in 4B, one in A5 and one in 09 but all good now. Cornering lights are working when i turn the wheel in the dark in the garage

I noticed in the module for lights there is a setting for PREDICTIVE LIGHTS I wonder if thats what the Superbs have got and what would happen if it was enabled?????
wonder if it would need coding or just turning on2021 Kamiq LE 110 , Moon White, BV cameras F & B

Available on Arteon (have seen it enabled on other cars but a lot of work) it fuses map data with camera and radar to bend lights before an upcoming bend, adjust speed before corners and adjust speed based on road sign recognition...2011 Skoda Octavia vRS TDI DSG wagon|Revo Stage 1|Race Blue|Leather|Dynamic Xenons w 6000K|9w7 BT|THA475 Amp+active sub|Whiteline ALK|RVC|

Have also seen that it apparently gave some drivers motion sickness as it was somewhat disconcerting to see the lights drift sideways and the car wasnt.
Can you remember the coding for the autoretracting drivers seat in a Passat??? I think you told me once about the time of the folding mirrors2021 Kamiq LE 110 , Moon White, BV cameras F & B

As Kamold said, I think it requires the TSR in Fusion mode with the maps.
While PACC would b nice to have, I don't want my car determining the speed I take a cornerMY17 Superb 162TSI, Business Grey, Tech+Comfort Pack, APR ECU+TCU Stg 1, SLA, Rieger Splitter + Side Skirts, Eibach Pro-Kit Springs, Hardrace Swaybar, TPMS

The other day coming through the roadworks on the Bruce north of Caloundra the icon changed speeds a couple of times when the signs gave a constant 80. At one point was 40 showing, which makes me wonder if the GPS has something to do with itLast edited by Guest001; 18-07-2019, 09:31 AM.2021 Kamiq LE 110 , Moon White, BV cameras F & B

so the only speed signs it shows on the infotainment or centre cluster r the ones it sees on the road.
Fusion mode uses both GPS map data and the camera.
the RoW map data does not seem to have the necessary data for fusion mode to work properly. at least is the case with the Columbus infotainment unit in Skoda.
hence my TSR is coded/set to "Road Sign Detection" mode.
However, given the Arteon uses the same RoW maps, and they have no issues - maybe the required data does exist in it. I may need to play around elsewhere with the "predictive" settings, that will then make Fusion mode happy. don't know.
Truth b told, i reckon this is a SwaP-controlled feature, controlled by VAG, requiring an activation code for a particular car.Last edited by dArK5HaD0w; 18-07-2019, 11:07 AM.MY17 Superb 162TSI, Business Grey, Tech+Comfort Pack, APR ECU+TCU Stg 1, SLA, Rieger Splitter + Side Skirts, Eibach Pro-Kit Springs, Hardrace Swaybar, TPMS
