What does that change? Does it fix the presentation and the roller shutter behaviour?

No, it fixes the error message when the DLA isn't working. I heard about two VW Tourans with the problem and with this coding, it should work.

I think most of the B8 owners that tried this didn't get an error, it's just that our Australian delivered models don't have the correct parameters to work legally.

I don't want lights that automatically turn high beam on and off. I want lights that black out the high beam from the spot where the oncoming car is so the high beam can stay on and illuminate around it.

Having automatic high beam on/off I find it never works as it should. Turns off when there's no cars and sometimes stays on when there is.

DLA is your active blocking you are talking about.

Hmmmm... Reading through, it reads to me as though it's auto on/off.

If it's proper dynamic, then I want to turn it on for sure.

Yeah OK. So How do I enable DLA? And don't say with OBD11 or whatever. Who can do it for me in Melbourne not a dealer.

I read in the instructions for DLA enable, it states “do the basic settings for headlights “. What, where is this (using OBD eleven)?

Only if you know what you're doing. You also end up being able to seriously screw things up!
