Something that has surprised me a bit in this whole process of advertising/selling the Tig is finding out what other people actually think of the car vs. what I believed they thought of it.
Going back to the first couple of times when I turned up at the hot hatch group and got sideways looks to now when that same group of people have a totally different opinion. The Tig has earned a lot of respect
It's not just the fact the it can keep a lot of hot hatches honest on a run through the hills - it's more the way it does it. While the hatches are scrabbling for traction out of a corner, the Tig just hunkers down and gets the job done. It may lose out a bit at the top end to the K04 cars, however up to 80 km/hr is where it works best which by the way is what the speed limit is.
So for real-world on-road performance the Tig is hard to beat.
