      Is from your 2010 Tig?
I think this just confirms MY11 Tig (without revision B cluster) can't get it.

        Hi All,
I have a 2014 Tiguan Track and Style and I am sick to death of the 120km/h speed warning coming on all the time. Once it is on, it blocks the MFD. I have disabled the speed warning using the steering wheel buttons but that has done nothing. I have searched through the system with my Ross-tech VCDS but can't find where to disable it. I am living in Qatar for a while and the speed limit is 120 but just about everyone travels quite a bit higher than that. Cheers.

Did you also disabled it in the MFD using the steering wheel?

I've heard of some countries having it coded and locked out. There still should be a VCDS option but I can't seem to find anything that supports that on the RossTech wiki.

Yep, I did disable it with the MFD but to no avail. Thanks Transporter.

Try setting the speed warning on the MFD to something like 180 and see if the MFD being set overrides the hard set speed limit.

                    Throttle Body Alignment Procedure

Just thought I'd add this procedure here for completeness...

Seems to be a recommended whenever disconnecting the battery/ECU to run this short procedure from Ross-Tech:

Turn the key on but do not start the car.

                    [Select]
                    [01 - Engine]
                    [Basic Settings - 04]
                    Group 060
                    [Go!]

It should say "Basic Settings: OFF" on the top of your screen.

Click [ON/OFF/Next] to turn on Basic Settings.

It should now say "Basic Settings: ON" on the top of your screen. Once you do this you will see the top right display say ADP RUN. The TB adaptation is being done as soon as you switched basic settings on. You will see the values change and hear the TB cycle for the first few seconds then it will stop. Leave it in Basic Settings for about 30 seconds.

Click [ON/OFF/Next] to turn off Basic Settings.

It should now say "Basic Settings: OFF" on the top of your screen

Click the [Done, Go Back] button and you're all set.

Be sure not to touch the accelerator and make sure the engine is NOT running when you do this!

                      Hi
Is their any VCDs tweaks available to enable autofolding of mirror when car is locked with the key? I have a mirror pack but could not auto fold mirror by keys
                      Thanks

Sorry,we probably can't be of much help here as we don't get this option here in Aus.

Though I know there was one Tig owner looking to do the retrofit but not sure how far he got with it as he bought the kit for LHD and was trying to adapt for RHD...

Ended up getting a new RHD passenger mirror from South Africa so all good now with both mirrors now folding, puddle lights and passenger mirror that dips in reverse
Regarding mirrors folding on locking , I have been playing around with the settings in the UDS door modules as Dana from Ross Tech, from memory thinks where the Audi models are activated from. So far no luck.

BTW took the Tig for it's first service last week. Had a detailed discussion with the techie asking home to recode my ABS module via SVM, as soon as I told him the new value (+4096) to add to the existing short code he knew exactly what I was up to. told me VAS or VW Australia? will only allow the ABS module when replaced or recoded to be reset back to the factory setting

                            Hello!

I didn't want to open a new topic since this is the "official" VCDS topic for Tiguan cars, so I'll post here my question:

I've tried to enable coming/leaving home on my Tiguan MY2919 without light/rain sensor: I was able to use coming home via stalk upon stopping the engine and opening the door, but I'm not able to use the leaving home function although I've enabled it via confort menu just like I've done with coming home, is there someone that can confirm that he has activated the leaving home function on a Tiguan without light/rain sensor and can tell me how he use it?

                            Cheers.

You need a new headlight switch with the "Auto" setting. Leaving Home will only work with the light switch set in the "Auto" position and your lights will come on automatically as there is no light sensor to tell it otherwise. I retrofitted one of these switches in my first Tiguan and activated the coming/leaving home functions using VCDS. You can get a Chinese made OEM VW switch for about $30. The OEM VW switches made in Mexico or Spain cost about $50 onwards.

                                Thanks for the answer!

So I need an auto headlight switch even if I don't have the rain/light sensor? That's sound a little bit strange because I can use coming home with the standard non-auto switch, I thought it was only a matter of VCDS coding...

I've just bought a chrome non-auto switch (2 days ago ) because I thought the auto position would've been useless...
