After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.
Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

Stage 2+ = Stage 2 + Audi S3 (K04) Turbo upgrade = 240kw/450NM
Stage 3 = Stage 2 + big turbo upgrade + a few other extras = 280kw/500NM
And beyond = Engine inernals & even bigger turbo = 350+kw2008 VRS Wagon. Yellow, very yellow!

Personally I'd never go past the S3 kit (Not stage 3) on the Tiguan. K04 Turbo with exhaust, FMIC and intake will see you at about 250kw/450NM which will do me just fine.
I would probably actually stop performance upgrades at the intake and ECU stage though. I have ordered a Carbonio intake in ....
Doing cosmetics now only. Radio, sunglass holder, suspension, wheels, crossdrilled brake discs etc coming up shortly ....

Wheels, intake, full turboback and stage 2 ECU are where I'm pretty sure I will stop. This will likely take me at least a full year or more to acquire, assuming the turboback even becomes available. Should have the intake as a christmas present.Tiguan 2.0T 4Motion - APR Stage 1
