Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

    How much did you pay for your Tiguan?

    I had the same experience too at VW Mascot as they are a rip-off. They often have over inflated prices. For example a new Wolfsburg RRP is $62k but they advertised at $65k and said price not negotiable.....hmmmm

    Anyways, try VW Rockdale as they do better deals. If you are interested I can PM you a contact I purchased my car with them?

      I used a broker who got my a great deal through Paul Wakeling on a couple of occasions, better than that price!

        How much did you pay for your Tiguan?

        Just ordered (in Sydney) my Black Wolfy with Sunroof & 5 yrs warranty for $57.5k!!

        It was a hard slog but I guess I won that negotiation battle [emoji3]

        Arriving in mid Jan....[emoji37]

            That's a pretty good price. Though if you're after a sunroof you'll have to wait for the second shipment in Jan.

                True. Although I prefer a 2019 build car so was happy to receive it in Apr but apparently no Wolfies to be built in 2019.

                I’m happy to receive my 2018 Wolfie in Feb so Jan is a bonus....

                    Most dealers wouldn't enforce it. Worst you can do is lose your deposit. Though I'd go back to the dealer and look to renegotiate as a first point of call.

                        I had similar experience at VW Sydney
                        they are big and have plenty of stock, but also charge like wounded bulls also

                        I ended emailing a whole bunch of dealers and ended up 5% better off elsewhere

                          just got back from VW Rockdale, best deal i can get from a 132 2019 is with full package (driver assist, luxury and sound and technology pack) is $53k. was hoping for less then 50k. what is the most common package deals?

                                I think a Highline 162 with sunroof and sound & vision pack is $58k driveaway (don’t quote me on that)? I would expect you get it for $53k with discount?
