Just got told that my Wolfsburg is on a boat and lands 22Jan with delivery probably first week of Feb! Hopefully I get the MY19 tweaks (AID changes etc that occur after week 48 of manufacturing)

Wow congratulations! So they managed to find you a black with sunroof?

So they say, finance got approved this morning and they reckon they have a spare black with sunroof on the ship. Ive asked for a VIN and production date. Still awaiting a response.

Ive also asked if the VW fitted tow bar is a 50mm hitch, requires the rear bumper to be cut and what coding they do. Im leaning towards buying from them just not sure yet

That would be great as my black one with roof is coming too. There’s 2 ships in transit to Oz, Thalatta & Tulane. I think both will be delayed because of Stink bug issues [emoji24]. Mine is on Thalatta & it’s sitting outside Freo being fumigated ( for 2 weeks now)! No ETA on resolution yet .....

I range Noble VW dealer today and they have 2 oryx available but both cars had deposit on it but subject to finance. The salesman are very keen to see if he can get me one from other dealership.

Did you get a production date from the dealer? I know with my previous car I could put the VIN number into a website and it would tell me when and where it was manufactured. They should be able to give you a VIN number by now if you haven’t got it already

Yeah got the COMM # & build date and ship name awhile ago. However the darn ship had bugs [emoji218] [emoji220].....
