My price is drive away on road. the car it self is 50445.45 be for on road costs. Guys if you could help me out here so I can get my facts rite for my dealer I would really appreciate the help. Willy, this is the problem with looking at a forum and having anonymous people give you advice..
You will never be happy with the car if you feel you are being "ripped off" and why I always go in to a negotiation with a price I want and a price I am happy with...
I guess what I am trying to say is, if you were happy with the price and the car and you are three days away from delivery then you should probably avoid all price forums..
If you feel you are getting ripped off.. talk to your dealership.. ask them for a discount.. if the say no then you run the risk of cancelling the contract with the potential loss of your deposit and the loss of your sweet Wolfsburg Tig.
Sure, you could go and negotiate at another dealer for less.. but then you may have to wait for delivery again.. and really is that worth the 1-2k you may move the car down for the loss of deposit and potentially the loss of what you wanted?

Hey mate your absolutely rite with what your saying. If it was just 1-2k i would let it go. But when the difference is over 5k that’s a bit disheartening. I should have pushed for a better price but when I made the deal that was three months ago and I couldn’t evan get any info on the car. Only what the dealership was telling me. So I guess I’m frustrated at my self now for letting it go with out doing some home work. Thanks for the input tho.

Still can't hurt to push the point with them before hand..
But at the end of the day make sure you enjoy the car and not let this overshadow the enjoyment.
Looks like they have charged you for the colour as well - the Wolfsburg price includes the three premium colours, so definitely need to get the dealer to remove this.
I have seen prices varying from $56K driveaway in Qld up to $68K driveaway, so alot also depends on the dealer as to what discounts they are giving.
I just picked mine up this afternoon, $56.5K driveaway, but ordered very early, the dealer had not heard of the Wolfsburg edition!

Yeah, I am lucky.. although wife is annoyed that I’m back in debt haha. $56k and car is in stock at the holding yard.. pick it up end of the week.. got the white.. probably should have waited until next year but I doubt the Wolfsburg will be available next year??

Yeah that’s pretty much the same as me. Did you pay for a dealer delivery by any chance?

I had $2727 Dealer Delivery fee on the invoice (this was then subjected to GST bringing it to $3000). This was offset by a large discount at the bottom of $4000 (plus gst).

Ok no worries thanks so much tig. Appreciate the help. Gives me some amo to throw back at them. Legend. [emoji846]
It took me AGES to get them down to 58k and a lot of stuffing about. I started at 56k and there was no way in hell I was getting that haha. It was a slog to get it at 58k.
Re: Paint costs - they tried the same with me. I saw it on the invoice and bargained. Then when I got the lowest price without there being fires in their office, I asked them to remove the cost of the included paint Nice instant extra discount haha

[emoji23][emoji23][emoji23] they have done you a favour as paying that much for a 132 is crazy!
You could easily get a loaded highline for 4-5k more

That price is pretty ridiculous! If you're set on the 132, you should definitely shop around at other dealers.
When I was looking for a Wolfsburg and 162 fully loaded, the same dealer in Botany gave me really high quotes ($68k Wolfsburg, $66k 162 fully loaded) which they weren't willing to negotiate until I paid a deposit. Went to another dealer and settled on the Wolfsburg for $58k!
