Pricing on Wolfsburg is a bit variable as some dealers are just quoting maximum RRP at this point in time before stock arrives in the country. Others are prepared to deal to get a sale.

Oh yes I know the differences between the MY18/18.5 and MY19. Just wasn't sure what (if any) differences there were between the 2018 MY19 and 2019 MY19 that sangabang was talking about.
Good to know about the pricing, guess I'll continue shopping around. Quote for fully loaded 162TSI from the same dealer was over $66k too.

The main difference is build date and depreciation/resale value. That's why some people hold off for a January build car (delivery in March).
I'm guessing the salesperson/dealer didn't think you were a serious buyer and just gave you RRP. I'd be asking them if that was their best price and/or what their absolute best price was to stop you from walking down the road and purchasing from another dealer.
I wouldn't discount dealing with regional/interstate dealers if you can't get any of the city dealers to play ball. I think that every dealership will get a Wolfsburg allocated to them so some of the regional dealers may actually be quite happy to have their allocation pre-sold.
Signed for a Wolfsburg without sunroof and 5 years warranty for $58k in NSW. Delivery at end of this month.
Pretty happy with the deal Much better than the initial $68k I was initially quoted by another dealership!
wow that’s a fantastic deal! I would of thought they wouldn’t move an inch on pricing since the Wolfsburg is just release and demand is high? Can I ask which dealer in NSW pls? Thanks
Black Wolfy with Panoroof on order - Arriving mid Jan......
What finance rates are you all getting quoted atm for the 162?
Due to the Royal Commission they've changed their rate to risk-profile.... blah blah... you now pay more for general bad behaviour of the banks and the cost of adding additional controls and audits.
Saying that, I am on the 'old' offer - Deal Saver 4.79%
Not sure if demand is that high, the dealers I spoke to still have not sold all their allocations yet. Since the Wolfsburg is arriving and being delivered this month I guess they may want to clear some stock.
I think pricing is also a factor, because you can get a fully loaded 162 Highline for roughly the same price.
