That's a great buy for such low KM. We can rebuild it and strap a pair of Garrett GT42s to the side to make some real power...
Can you get a 3d scan done of your engine bay for me and I will get started on the clearances required, wiring loom and chassis modifications to begin with.

Will do. I’m not sure if APR does twin turbo V10 tunes, I may need to go to a custom tuner this time. I’ll make sure the air filter pods mount directly on the turbo and poke out each of the headlights.
I may need a new gear box, although I’ve heard the MQB DQ500 can be tuned to stage 4 to handle upto 1000NM. The biggest restriction will probably be that iron suitcase of an exhaust, I may need to just disconnect it and run straight pipes that vent out the side of the car. If I’m lucky they may even shoot some flames. Lastly, I’ll put a lift kit on it, it needs to look a bit more menacing. My little one has inspired me to paint it like Blaze and the Monster Machines.
VW Tiguan 162 TSI Highline w/ R-Line & DAP. Mods: OEM IS38 turbo, APR IS38 98 RON ECU tune, TVS Stage 2 + with custom TCU tune, APR Downpipe and resonator delete, APR turbo inlet, VWR turbo muffler delete, APR pendulum mount, APR dog bone insert, APR Open Pod Filter (MQB), RAMAIR intake tube, APR Red Ignition Coils, NGK R7437-9 Spark Plugs, DBA T3 slotted rotors front and T2 slotted rotors rear, ATE ceramic pads front and rear Vbox: 0-100 4.1s

Gearbox already have a 2 speed powerglide with 5000rpm stall in mind.
Dual Tial external wastegates venting just past the front wheels.
Turbos to be relocated to lower section of front bar (as that's the new style ATM).
Suspension mods will include myself and my 9inch angle grinder cutting a few rings off the springs so its sitting on the bump stops for that stance look.

If there’s gonna be flames, you want to poke the exhaust out the bonnet so you can see the pops and bangs.
Anyone wanna sell me their stock 162TSI down/dump pipe? Might see if I can mod the stock one with a 200cell cat, larger diameter piping and angle the O2 sensor bung in a way it doesn't throw CELs.
Preferable from Sydney (save on postage, already poor from buying the Tiguan lol).

Maybe try some of the Mk7 R Guys for theirs too since the aftermarket ones fit the Tiguans.

You are better off buying the CAT you want, going to an exhaust shop, remove exhaust, remove stock cat and get a piece of pipe made up to fill the stock cat location and then install the new cat where the stock resonator is or just behind. You will never fit in an aftermarket cat where the stock is as its on the elbow just after the turbo.
I try hard every day to save a few dollars on food, clothing, petrol, other essentials... but all that hard-earned money just went to 'car parts' so easily...
Tell me if that is you as well

Taking a wild guess that is your IS38 turbo, CTS MQB Downpipe and perhaps CTS intake pipe (elbow) or turbo muffler delete?
Exciting mate.

I think a lot of people on this thread have the same issues...
