Is there a way when stop / start is on to change the setting for how car the car infront moves before the engine turns back on?

That wasn’t DLA. It was HBA.

Nah. It’s DLA.

It blocked the front car from dazzled.

I totally understand what’s High bean assist and Dynamic light assist man.

That’s the headlight initiating.

I suspect the NAR restrictions in AUS limited the DLA as well.

The movement angles were not large.

Tried DLA on my loan Tiguan Allspace Comfortline with DAP.

The DLA on Tiguan didn’t perform as well as my Passat. The headlight temperature was not as white (cool). Transitioning was not as smooth. It’s only on or off.

Probably because Tiguan has one lens headlight but Passat has two lenses in its headlight unit.

Passat DLA staging the high beams. The high beam slowly rises up to prevent sudden light condition changes. It’s way smoother.

Also, I found Tiguan headlight can adjust the up and down way more than a Passat. Maybe due to the car is much higher.

No, the earlier cars and I don't know when it changed had what might be called a dumb LED while at the same time production for cars in the UK for example had the active headlights and they are both different and distinctive headlight assemblies.

Second last line second in from the right is the Tiguan electrical manual page 19.

Mine is May 2018 build Comfortline and it definitely get DLA but not too sure if I really like it. Not really as bright as normal high beam.
Just ordered an hex net dongle. Cannot wait to try it.
I also have V6 Amarok highline but didn’t find lot of mods for them.

What is BCM on yours.

If you have (09) BCM 1 1.0, them you won’t have separate headlight control module (55).

Does yours have Module 4B or 55? I tried doing this one my a while ago but since it is one of the first models mine doesn’t have Module 4B only 55. I tried using the instructions for up to MY17 but couldn’t get it going. To be honest I didn’t try very hard.

Just use the AS coding guide, see post 749. The critical part is resetting the lights and deleting errors.

Just use the AS coding guide, see post 749. The critical part is resetting the lights and deleting errors.

I think I finally, after about six tries, got DLA working on my 2017 Tig. Well at least no errors.

I did this also, the stats page does not show the long coding and adaptation changes. The ones that cost 10 credits I just did to test them out.

Look in history.

You can save on credits by actually going into the adaptation itself and making the changes or by long coding
