      Congrats - very envious!

      What's kessy?

The 15mm lowering sounds cool if that is the case I'm assuming it's a feature of ADC.

            • To those who know how the tracking shipment works...

I have used this website: https://www.2wglobal.com/webapps?fra...uickSearchPage

And applied my VIN. It says the above. Click image for larger version

So I wasn't ecstatic about no Dynaudio as you can tell. I love it in the Golf R, and it almost sounds as good as some really good high end hear. Obviously there is some stupidly high end gear which I am not referring to $20K on splits. BUt they do sound from the same family of MB Quartz reference series splitz I used to have ($1200-ish from memory).

You can really turn up the sound and have any type of music, punchy or flat, not distort which is just a luxury I love in a car.

TungstenR you are still young enough to want a Tiguan Highline with R-Line kit all over it so don't give me that ! You just aren't into car audio. There is always time to enjoy music in the car, just like there are other times where its time to turn the radio off and enjoy the engine sound!!

Your car looks stunning. Hope you are enjoying it!

Yep. You can google real time ship tracking, and put in your ship name to get an exact location of where your ship is at the moment. Mine offloaded at Port Kembla on the 29th Dec.

Hi Gladbach, Kessy is the keyless entry/closing, with start stop button on the centre console, and the 5th door opening/closing circus... , as seen with Thomas from the "Autogefühl" videos, where he doesn't seem to understand how it works...

During the drive I've tried the Sport setting, I could feel the suspension getting firmer but could not check if it was actually 15mm lower or if I was just imagining it. I guess the salesman told about it because he just had a sales training, even though he said there was a lot he didn't yet exactly know.

The ACC works superb, in the Head Up Display (HUD) you see a car appearing when the distance becomes too close (settings are variable, I think middle or far work best), and the car corrects and keeps the distance at the set/prefered distance. Just went to the beach to have a ride in the dark, the light is very pleasant, evenly spread, though the automatic high beam did not work, I probably have to look up how that works in the settings. The car is quiet, but not boring (as with the Volvo XC70 that I had a few years ago), when we've done a few more hundred km I'll start pushing the car a bit more and see what it sounds like then. I like the ride, it's firm, comfortable in the comfort setting (20" Suzuka's) on poor back roads, communicative, and not too soft. It's worth the wait.

VW Tiguan R-line 162kw, Tungsten Silver Metallic, Titanium Black-Crystal Gray.

I'm a musician, the way I hear and enjoy music is different than most people, through the years I've learned to listen and enjoy sounds differently, you won't hear me comment on those that haven't made that journey... If you would have quoted my whole comment you would have seen I've changed the way I see/hear music, but also with that the way I see/hear/experience life itself, but I think it isn't the goal of this forum to go into that. No car music installation/experience can come close to the experience I can have at home, as I've already tried to explain before, I do enjoy sharing music en route, but I don't give it the highest priority as it's impossible to come close to the experience I can have/share at home.... I think it's more about priorities then anything else, wouldn't you think?

Yes my car looks stunning , and I'll also improve it, as I'm also a designer... but I'll keep it subtle as the colour I've chosen already complements the sharp/angled lines of the design concept, it's part of how I enjoy life. I make choices that give me joy alright

Also a musician........and agree car audio is almost always going to be a compromise but we frequently compromise on audio quality for convenience. Think MP3. The fact is that sometimes it is just good to have music on in the cat...the hours drive where you can listen to music when you can't allocate that hour to critical listening at home with the stereo. I say enjoy your music however you can consumer it compromises or not.

                            car looks great BTW.

Thank you Mac135, I'm sure you'll also be waiting to experience what the car sounds like (higher revs, "dsg farts" etc. ) once the engine has been "broken in"...
