I have ordered/received my New Tiguan

Technically the tigger is my wife's car (though a company car) so it might/is likely to stay stock.

The roc though is due for replacement in April so just about to start the search for its replacement now....based on previous history the tune gets added about 6 months after delivery - time enough to work out any initial bugs.

S3 favourite at the moment but next Saturday is test driving day. Start with S3, CLA, bmw340, XES (need 4 seats this time around) and go from there.

OK on the Tig. Love the S3 and BMW 340. Both great cars.

Tow bar on the Rline, it's a vertical bar so only has some very minor cutting to the rear bar.

Looks great! - You said Official VW Towbar - was this ordered through Gerald Slaven/Lennock and what was the cost? (Apologies if I've missed this somewhere else) and do you know if this was fitted locally in Canberra or perhaps somewhere else?

Mines coming in less than 2 weeks.. not sure how people are waiting to May. I'm dying over here!

I'm also checking every day , just for people's reviews on RLINE . Ordered TSI 162 RLINE with DAP indium grey, coming in May.

Me also, Tapatalk app notifies me of any new posts so always reading them as soon as they're posted. I'll have my 162TSI R-Line in les than a week (5th or 6th of Jan) and I'm hanging out also!

l had a drive the other day in TSI 162 indium grey rline with DAP ,bloody nice.
I ordered the same spec's with out sun roof $56000 DA. was pretty happy with price after looking on this forum to get indication for price, and that was without corp discount.

Been out and about in the R Line 162 today. Covered almost 500km in a loop up to Ballarat and then on to the Pyrenees wine area and then back through Castlemaine to home. Covered a variety of roads and I must say that this is some car! Comfort, ride and handling have exceeded expectations. The DSG in this car is more refined than the version in the Mark 7 Golf GTI that I had previously. I mentioned in a previous post that tapping the shift lever into S mode give the car a real lift in performance and flexibility - it's more urgent and just gets up and goes. Fuel economy for the run showed 7.9l/100km.

Not too bad - about 150 km of the run was in 110 kmh zones with an indicated 114 kmh showing on the dash.

How much do you think the speedometer is out by? Have you checked it with gps?

Haven't checked the indicated speed with a gps yet - 114 kmh indicated is probably a bit less than 110 kmh actual but I kept at that indicated pace to avoid the camera$!
