NZ_GOLF ... Thank you very much. As long as there is no delay, and Froga already confirmed his Tig on board, so that it should have mine too. The more on the way coming this South Pole the better we are. We have waited so so so longggg.

Sept 20th. Ask your dealer if your vehicle has a VIN number assigned to it, if it doesn't it means it hasn't been built yet.

I know the feeling, I ordered mine wayyy back at the end of July so will be about 5 months from order to delivery which is by far the longest I have waited for a car. My last 2 cars (MK6 GTI and MK6 R) were exdemo ones so only had to wait a couple of days to get them. The one before that was the original Mazda 3 MPS which I ordered before they were released so had to wait a little while but definitely not 5 months!

FROGASAURSAS, As i said in previous posts, my customer also a car dealer manager and sale rep from VW, they came to me more often so that they told my wife your car coming soon since last week, i asked her to call them for VIN but they answered the VIN will be here with the car, not now. Haha. Does not matter, they cant cheat me anyway.

NZ _ I have waited for the car to be realeased in Australia since APRIL but really disappointed when i was told from the Manager that the 162 WONT be in until next year. REally shock because i drop Mazda CX9 to pick this one but it took a lot longer. That's why i hope Tig should be good, otherwise my wife wont let me go with technology anymore eventhough our previous A5 was good, but my wife said "A metal cage sits on 4 wheels" only ... as long as it drive. It is good. Hehe

I think 80% of people wandering around this topic are waiting for their 162 R line, DAP + Sunroof. My Tig is same as theirs.

Not me---Base Highline 162tsi. Once you start adding everything it gets out of control.

I got told a new R Line will be Apr 26 arrival in aus, even later delivery.

I can't wait that long. I waited 7months for my Golf R, never again!

Must have for me is Black, DAP. Don't want sunroof really because of the see through blind.

Would love the R line - but that's like 6 months away. I can get non R line in 2 months.

Hmm... I'm dying with this one. Maybe see if there's another colour R line?

R-line is available in pure white, tungsten silver, indium grey and deep black pearl. So shades of grey only - no orange, blue or red.

Car looks way better in R-line trim, but understand not wanting a 7 month wait on a car. There are diesel R-lines available... even a couple showing on carsales at NSW dealers.

I didn't go R-Line either. 162TSI with DAP. Maybe that's why mine is on the boat...

Over here we get a brown as well as Atlantic Blue. I considered the blue but it is quite dark and not as nice as the Rising Blue on my Golf R so knew I wasn't going to be happy with it. Have always liked white cars but never actually owned one so now was the chance and they do look really good it white with the black bits on the R Line body kit.
