OK at 1:45.. the exhausts are just black plastic covering.. kind of weird..

Even taking a compliment for the exhaust covers would be weird. Once the car has settled in year 2 or 3 ill make sure those exhaust covers as real.. and that the car does 12s...

I'm not a massive fan of faux exhaust features, but it seems more and more cars have them. I've seen plenty of Mercs with them.

That new full integrated head unit in the golf looks amazing. Really wish the Tig didn't miss the boat on that one.

i'm just pleased to be updating to the extent we are after 8 years of good service from out current Tig. The new 162 will in so many ways be a big step forward from our 147. When it gets here of course........

This might have to do with the sunroof- the ETA of my car was originally end of February too , when I spoke to the dealer last week we noticed they accidentally orders my car with sunroof which I hadn't ordered- after they fixed that and changed the order the ETA was brought forward to Jan... wonder though what would have happened if they would have delivers the car with sunroof

Funny, I actually wondered if it was due to yours not having a sunroof. A mate of mine ordered a GTI a while back without a sunroof and the dealer accidently ordered it with one. He didn't mind either way. They asked him to pay extra for the sunroof when they were finalising payment but when he said no, they just gave him the car at the same price (their mistake). It would have been worse I guess if he really didn't want a sunroof and then ended up having to wait for a new car to be made and shipped.

I am becoming even harder to live with. We 162TSI people have had our cars ordered for weeks and have no idea how they will perform, how they drive, how cool they will be or wether they are going to be as desirable as we all hope for.
When are we going to know something? Maybe VW are hiding something embarrassing ..... they've done it before.

Same here, so can't believe how often a day I am checking the Australian and German sites for new information- kinda obsessive behavior right- I also though I would never buy a car that I haven't actually test driven but if I would have done that then I would be in my old car till Christmas 2017

Haha . It seems that not only me having the problems. VW saves the best for last. if it does having problems after problems like reported on their facebook. i will change to Audi Q5 hopefully.
