I have ordered/received my New Tiguan

Sounds a little like the dealer being dismissive to your wife. My dealer did not ring me to give me that info but had it immediately at hand when I asked.

My wife called my dealer today and ask for VIN number of Tiguan which was ordered on 24 of Sep. The dealer said he did not have VIN number yet until the car is here. Is this reasonable answer? Can anyone help please? Whereas everyone already had there VIN number and can be tracked and in my case it totally diferrent.

Your VIN will not be allocated until the car goes into production i.e. built. The dealer should be able to give this to you around this time. I would ask them to send you a screen shot of the NADCON screen to see when your car as been allocated a build date and where it is up to.

Thank you, I did not know that, because most of you received a email or sms but i dont, the sale rep was still a boy so that i dont want to push him. My wife told me, just wait until then end of January to see what happen rather than keep worried about the car. Good idea but i cant follow 100%.

yes, I did this morning as well...has been ordered which my dealer told me it had been 6 weeks ago

The tig ive ordered was on ship in oct based on the VIN from the dealer and I received my email this morning so not sure it's being sent when the dealer places the order, might just be a campaign head office is running.

I do note though that none of the links in the email I received work, sends me to a VW "Opps" page

Based on the 162TSIs that have been delivered in Germany, it has dual exhausts, left and right of the chassis that point downwards behind the faux trapezoidal exhaust shapes in the bumper. We can only assume that is what we'll get here, but until Simone gets their hands on the first one we won't know for sure
