It pays to shop around VW dealerships as they're not all the same, some have better access to vehicles because of the volume they do, I know this as I had placed an order with one dealer in Vic but after delays and there failure to keep me in the loop I cancelled the order and went to another dealer and ended up getting a better deal as well as a quicker delivery time than the first dealer could do before they started stuffing me around. Some dealers have cars on order already with certain options, colours etc.

New member here. Looking at Tiguan 162tsi fully loaded and been told today to expect July 2018 delivery!

Apparently due to lack of Active Info Displays....

I am thinking of selling my 162 Highline so I should get a premium price for it. I am not selling it for that reason but it makes it more attractive.

Hi All, for those waiting/interested, I received these pictures from the dealer today of my fully loaded MY18 162 R-Line (with DAP, Sunroof & Tow) that I pick up tomorrow - very exciting! (ordered 9 months ago - delayed for change to MY18!)

Will post more pictures/review once I take delivery and very keen to try out the TJA & ALG!

For anyone wanting a MY18 162 R-line in white with DAP (no sunroof), there's one going into stock at the Barry Maney VW dealership in Mount Gambier.

It's due to land there in November.

Wait that times on these are out to 9+ months at the moment so get on it if you want one this side of Xmas.
