I have ordered/received my New Tiguan

Gents, found a little chip on the bottom part of the drivers door. Looks like it was caused by another car door. Does anyone know where I can get this fixed in Sydney? Very annoying

Hey guys, new to the forums here.
Ordered our tig first week of Sept 16, fully loaded R-line and collected last week of Feb 17. So far have put 12k on it. Drives amazing and the LED headlights are superb. Love everything about the car, cannot fault it. Those hanging on for the wait, its bloody worth it.

On a side note, does anyone have any idea on if/when/maybe they will have a Tiguan R, like the Golf R here in AUS? I took the Golf R for a test drive the other week and was mighty impressed.

I have received the I'm on my way email 6 times in the last 3 weeks .The most recent ones today .
According to the dealer my car is docking in Melbourne tomorrow.
I'm a bit skeptic about these emails though given that the car should have been on water for the last 4 weeks at least.
Any thoughts?

Yeah I've received the welcome email three times now with the same status...'ordered'.

That was end of May.

Did you guys track it with your vin number ? It's the most reliable way to know where your car is vs. trusting the dealer.

Providing the VIN holds them accountable and adds transparency to the process.... Hope you get your car soon

Yeah I'd be a little concerned if they are refusing to provide a VIN. What are they trying to hide?

Did you say your welcome email says the car is "ordered"? In that case your car wouldn't have a VIN assigned yet. It only gets a VIN when it's in production. Which means the dealer couldn't give you a VIN as it's too early. When you have the "I'm build" email, you can ask for the VIN.

Lol no mate i said i received the"Im on my way " shipment email 6 times in 3 weeks .
The car was build and on its way when i asked for the vin.
In fact is due to dock in Melbourne today.

I have asked my dealer several times for a sighting of the NADCON screen, relating to the car they are assigning to me. Not had anything so far. Might have to pay him a visit and get him to put it on the screen while I am stood there.

never ceases to amaze me the inability of manufacturers to plan ahead. The car will be superseded before you even get it
