I have ordered/received my New Tiguan

    - ALG is not an option under systems menu
    - Lane assist gives a nice reminder when drifting lanes, tested on purpose
    - Stereo is much better than I remember, actually quite decent and probably the best I've had in a car

    thats about it for now, will add the obligatory pic in the appropriate thread but haven't had time to stop and take pics yet sorry

    hang in for those who are still waiting, the first few hours in it have me mightly impressed

        TheTig, glad it is as good, or better, than you remembered. I am still waiting to put finger prints on mine, but at least I am enjoying the wait (currently in Amsterdam with more of Europe to follow)

          Nice way to spend the time waiting on the car , couldn't think of much better really, enjoy the weather!

            Just got a call from dealership and car should be ready to pickup evening on Monday or worse case Wednesday. Finally !!! My Tiggy arrived on the Morning Celesta at Port Kembla..

                    Where did people get the best quotes/prices on comprehensive insurance for their new Tigs? Prices obviously vary widely. Did people go market or agreed value for insurance prices?

                      Well depends on what you want your excess to be and location etc. many variables to do a like for like comparison. If you multiple policies with NRMA you get a good deal. Sure other insurers do the same. Bingle.com.au seems to be another which is cheap. Insured on market value though.

                          Thanks Eyes. Will be sending some pics through when I pickup on Monday(if all goes to plan). Apparently there are few pickups on Monday since a few came of Morning Celesta. Will be a busy Monday and a few more new Tiggys on the road in Sydney.
