What Accessories are you buying for your MK7 Golf?

Yup bumpers a slight change in front guards and lights is all on 7.5 plus the interior goodies
I can confirm mirrors are the same as i ordered mark 7 ones and they were 100% match
Also just about all the mechanical stuff is the same some power upgrades but apart from the new 135kw diesel with bigger turbo and injectors and the new high torque 7 speed dsg its same same

Has anyone bought a dash mat for their Golf 7 or 7.5 that they are happy with the quality & fit ? I bought a Shevron Dashmate for my Skoda a while back and it didn't fit very well at all (cutouts in the wrong place).

I have been looking online for 1 but have not pulled the trigger yet like you unsure of fit/finish will have to be a quality one off a non ebay site i think

I'm quite sure it will be fine. It attaches to the dash with sections of double sided tape. I used isopropyl alcohol to spot clean the dash areas first, and cut the supplied tape pieces in half to get twice as many sections to attach the mat. Viola! Fits and sits very well. I went for the charcoal not black and it's perfect. As unobtrusive as such a thing can be sitting atop the dash!

Fitmycar.com.au does good quality dash mats, as well as carpets of various thicknesses. Dashmat arrived quickly and is of good quality.

I suspect that customcarmats.com.au and fitmycar.com/au/ are the same business (both have the same physical address: 6 Freight Rd, Ravenhall VIC). I ordered a dashmat from customcarmats.com.au but received a shipping notification email from fitmycar.com

As long as the dashmat sent to me fits properly and is of good quality I'm not at all concerned

Had some lights updated on Monday...

• VW MK7.5 Rear LED Tail lights with Sweeping indicators.
• Dynablink Sweeping Indicator LED's for mirrors.
• VW Registration Plate white LED's.

All good. Only thing which could've been better are the Dynablinks brightness during the day - they have a tinted covering which slightly dampens their intensity.

At night though, very nice.

This is where I got mine from.

Mine isn't grippy tbh. I like it.

It does make the key slightly bigger but it protects it which is why I got it.

Im also looking at the below items if they exist would like to know if someone to direct me (Melbourne) picking up my 7.5 gti hopefully in dec.

-Carpet mats with red edging and white GTI logo
-Custom front sun shade with a vw logo and matching like either a pattern or a dark metal blue colour

-One thing I didnt check on the 7.5 - the number plate lights, these are LED right?

I got a large carbon fibre cover for my keys and entry is fine

Check ebay for the carpet mats i got rubber ones trimmed in red with golf on them think they had gti as well was only 79 bucks i think

i am sure someone will have cloth ones for sale

Has anyone got the red and black rubber set from eBay? I see you can get 4 floor mats with boot mat for $100.

I already have the black Golf mats and the VW hatch mat, but it's disappointingly foam and doesn't hold up to scratches well.

Picked up some red and black luggage straps from SCA. They work really well to secure eskys and bags. Also grabbed a red and black pencil case from Officeworks to store spare USB chargers and cables. The chargers is red and black and the cables are red. My gf thinks I'm some sort of GTI bowerbird I think.

I have the red rubber mats front and rear from ebay looks real nice with the tornado red paint
Did not get rear cargo mat as i have a wagon and they only make for hatches

Good quality and look nice
