I already swapped the headlights (not the original R ones, wasn’t able to find a set in a good shape and price, but still looking though) the original ones were in a very bad shape and I didn’t want to keep them (the picture didn't show much).

The plate colour I still not sure what I want, I’ll definitely replace the yellow one. I may get the normal white on black ones to match with the other black accents on the car.

The bumper replacement is in my plans but I want to get some stuff in the interior done first.
Golf Wagon MK7 (90 92TSI) - Mods: DQ250 swap (Stage 2), 110TSI turbo upgrade (Stage 2), Bilstein B12, 19" Pretoria, GTI PP sway bar upgrades (front/rear), full GTI tartan interior, GTI color cluster, R Bi-Xenon headlights with AFS retrofit, GTI brake upgrade.
    More to come...

    • Hi Guys,

My car got written off a few weeks ago. Got rear ended by someone that was on their phone

Decided to go for a second hand mk7 2015 GTI, what price point should I be looking at?

I've had a look at 2 of them and can provide links.

They look nice mate. I think the stock issue with the PS4S is the fact that Michelin has just released the PS5 recently. You might want to consider another brand tyre at a similar quality/performance level (Continental Sport Contact 6, Goodyear Eagle F1 Supersport, Bridgestone Potenza Sport etc) if you want to get the wheels fitted up soon.

Probably stick PS4S's on them as who knows if the PS5s will actually be better ?

Both are showing on the Jax Tyres website, saying stock available. Assuming you are running the common tyre size for Mk7 R of 235/35/19. The Bridgestones are $1320 for 4, and the Goodyear's are $1580 for 4.

A 235/35r19 don't fit on 18x8.5 wheel . One thing I've learnt over the last 2 years don't trust whats listed on website and go straight to the source .

I assumed your specs because you did not specify. Most people go for a 19x8.5 on the Mk7 GTI and R with a 235/35/19 tyre.

So what are you looking for, a 225/40/18?

I only put the wheel spec's up with the wheel pic , tyres 245/40r18 I've had enough of the 235/35r19 .
                      Cheers

                        • Recently got a 2014 mk7 Golf R. Stock springs. Looking for some new rims.

Anyone know if 18x8.5 + 34 rims will cause issues? Which size tyres should I get with them?
