guess I saw something about it, but in your experience, running 245, even 255, is possible? On 17 or 18 wheels.

These are in 19s, but per the owner: Miro STP-3 in 19 x 8.5, ET47 with 255/30/19 up front and 19 x 9.5, ET40 with 235/35/19 in the rear. However the consensus is 255s will generally cause issues.

It's taken me a while to get these up, as fitted to the Alltrack wagon - haven't seen them before so guessing they might be a new design. They suit the shape, even when cocking a back leg:

Another look at Neuspeed; there is definitely a trend in the USA towards them right now as a 'budget' option and they certainly appear to be to the Mk7 what VMRs were to the Mk5/6:

I've seen the Mak's pop up on the Euro forums but if it wasn't for this thread I must admit I wouldn't have heard of them here. Car is looking clean - feel free to post up some more pics of your car!

hey Dutch you obviously know this thread better than any one in here ,So I want to ask you if do you have a top 10 0r 5 of the best wheels in your opinion?
there are 153 pages at the moment and this may help people to see the best ones although is fun going through the thread some times...

I did a brief recap in post 1000, although the position may have since shifted with a few of the opening summary posts being shuffled around. I will definitely need to revisit the idea though.

It really depends on my mood and budget as to what works for me, but excluding my own OZs I still enjoy:

A decent budget: BBS CH-R
A lower budget: VMR 810 or the mesh Nuespeeds

I will think of five more must haves as soon as I hit post.. so I think I'll have a review at some point in the near future and nominate a new top five which hopefully generates some discussion.
