  • Is that the dark blue or grey in the above photo? Keen to see it in the flesh - which dealership?

    • I think it's the dark blue, it's Barloworld Glen Waverley.

      • Is the boot open in that picture, if not, the light fitment is terrible.

Also, bonus points for spotting the Tiguan in the reflection (those oem wheels are hideous)

Can't say the 19s on the PP do much for me either.

            • Cant see the above GTI PP photo. I'm keen on the PP (or the R dependent on pricing) but also hate the PP 19's. Wondering if I can arrange for the dealer to offload them and put on some nice black 18's? Thoughts?

I'm sure you could, dependent on the dealer.

I know when I was considering a Tiguan the dealer had a spare set of the 155 wheels floating around (New Yorks?) because someone hadn't wanted them.

The market for OEM wheels is usually solid so you'd probably best trying to sell them yourself and buy what you want - although I suspect it might be harder to move the PP's 19s. I think the Rs are just fine, although haven't seen them in black yet? The limestone grey with black wheels that was posted on here a few days ago looked sweet though.

                • Thanks Dutch.

GTI in Carbon Steel with black 18's (e.g Oz Ultraleggas) would look very nice.

re the R looks like Cadiz 19's only (polished alloy, black insert). Have seen a Lapiz Blue R with the 19' Cadiz painted gloss black (NZ trader link someone posted recently) and it looked awesome.

Re PP v R I just need to find a way to justify to myself an additional $5-6k for AWD (particularly when to be honest there's not a great call forAWD outside of Alpine environments, and the PP gets the trick LSD)!

Neither can I. I think it's shared off dropbox and I can't view it in another window either. Anyone can upload it elsewhere like photobucket or tiny pic?

It was working but now isn't, it was just a shot of the rear LEDs only, nothing too thrilling.

I've just had a look at my new GTI tail lights and it's not a miss alignment problem. The inner light housing is wider then the outer giving you the false sense they aren't fitted correctly. The lower edges of the two light housing align perfect.

The rear LED tail lights are as per the R (dark tinted LED's)
