Well done! You must be so excited. - same spec as mine but different colour and without euro plates. If you don't mind me asking what did you end up getting it for? I know you were aiming for under $50k and I'd be most impressed if you managed to come anywhere close to that.

yeah, apparently no manual option - could change if enough people demand it.

the seats are worth ~$1500 as an extra (in countries where offered).

also make sure RDS and TP are enabled in settings. you should be able to see 'TP' on top of the centre display once enabled.
but even if you can see TP, you may still not able to retrieve traffic information, then thats due to coding.

cheers, thanks. Both settings were off. It works now. I wonder if the satnav takes it into consideration when calculating routes? If not then its pretty useless.

hi Mate, Can you tell me how to enable the TP setting, its comes disabled on my car. and what is this 'RDS'

RDS is the technology that allows non-music data to be bundled with an FM radio signal. It's used to show the song name/artist info on the radio and it also transmits a number sequence for traffic info, which corresponds to a database stored on the unit (i.e. one number might = "congestion", another might equal "accident", another for "road works", etc).

Australian traffic info is encrypted by SUNA (RACV) so you won't see any traffic info unless your head unit is has the decryption key (and of course, the feature has to be turned on (check your manual)). Ask your dealer if the feature can be retrofitted otherwise.

its in the setting menu in the radio section, but it may not be activated and if not, then your dealer will have to activate it, at a cost I suspect or maybe free with a service. Mine came with it activated but not on.
