sounds pretty good. Paid $26500 for a dsg comfortline in Dec. no extras. I thought it was good deal,or maybe it isn't I'm pretty hopeless at negotiation.

Has anyone bought a comfortline dsg with the 18"rotary wheels or the 17" blade wheels at the time of purchase and not getting the wheels after taking delivery? I'm looking at doing this on the weekend and am not sure what price is doable. Does $28500 sound possible?

Yeah, picked up my comfortline today with the 18" rotary wheels. I didn't think to ask about the original wheels before the sale and they didn't offer them to me when I picked it up. Oh well, live and learn.

Do they usually give you the original wheels?

As for the price, sounds way too cheap to me. Those wheels and tyres are pretty exe.

But I must say, they look amazing. Especially with the limestone grey. The wheels are exactly the same colour. My car was in a prime position in the showroom when I got it and everyone was pretty impressed with how they look. Worth every cent.

What did you end up getting yours for mate? I see you also optioned the driver assist and sat nav.

yeah, I got heaps of extras, roof racks, sun blinds, mats etc. $32K. I bargained with 4 dealers over the phone and this was the lowest price they all could do. Also, the car/boat were going to adelaide so they had to get it to melbs and there were no others available with my specs/colour and I didn't want to wait 6 months.

I guess it depends on how specific you are with specs/colour.

I am picking mine up tomorrow, do I have to ask anything to get the live traffic updates?

VWA officially states that traffic function is not available in aus, it didnt come with mine, but my friend who's a VW expert enabled it for me, did some coding.

You're going to create a lot of interest here with everyone else wanting to try and get the feature now

Are you able to share photos of any setup action and action shots?
Is there an extra service fee or extra hardware to your knowledge to enable this?

all you can do w/o proper device is to enable RDS and TP.
if it still doesnt work then it needs coding.

tonymy01: don't feel too isolated, my Golf mkVII Highline doesn't get the TP option either. I get the first screen on spikeyboy22 post. But despite putting a tick in the box, nothing happens when I press the TP button (screen says "no reports available"). My Golf is an my13 vehicle. Guess this is one of the differences with the my14 car.

Does anyone here with an my13 model have TP working?

its all about SUNA, i think must be VWA recently paid for SUNA, that why MY14s get it and MY13 dont.
but i got it enabled.

Could the my13 and my14 have different firmware and that is what makes it work

firmware/hardware all the same. coding is different.

Ah ok, no worries. I'll be talking prices with the dealer Saturday so i will report back with what I end up with.
