Dealer says they are excited to see their first 7.5 Wolf

Hey Slin,I placed my order as soon as pricing got announced back in early June.
Was told by castle hill dealership Aug then delay till March,change dealer and he is promising Nov or Dec,its a blue Wolf hat h with a sunroof, what is your colour?

Have the inspection booked for this coming Saturday , but will confirm that during the week.
I am sure I'll like it as the white car with black trim has looked great on golfs - even for the last 40 years
The key features for me were the Prets - would have needed aftermarkets if got the R
The Carbon seats - having sat in 7.0 Wolf I knew I liked those seats the most.
Was planning on ordering my car this month for delivery in December but the minute I heard that the Wolfsburgs were coming it was a hurried call to the dealership.

So got delivery booked for 1 September and Detailing booked for 14 September and just got the news from my broker that my money won't be ready for 3 weeks. I can get it for the 1 Sep if used another lender with a slightly higher rate.
What a roller coaster, from expecting dec delivery and now to have it so close and yet so far.

My story...been looking for a Mk7 GTI and had found an MY15 in black that I liked, DSG, low km, private sale. Except it had a few annoying scratches and marks, typical shopping centre dingles. I liked it, but wasn't completely convinced. Plus, I had a preference for the BiX lights with LED DRL, something only the MY16 and beyond had. So I saw 2 at the local dealership, both demos. One was red, fully optioned, leather, sunroof, manual...MY16 and under $40K - it had hail damage which had been repaired. I liked it immediately..but when I arrived at the dealership it had been sold. So then I looked at a Night Blue MY16, no options, 6MT...long story short, I put a deposit on it today. Should have it by Saturday. The Night Blue has grown on me...I don't think I've seen any in that colour.

Night Blue is a rare colour, not too many around, but I like it. You see a few regular Golfs in that colour - Alltracks and MY14 hatches (it was discontinued after that.) Plus GTIs and Performances up to MY17. It is not available in the 7.5 Golfs though.
