Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

The new forum software is an upgraded version of what came before, it's mostly the same but also a little different. Hopefully easier to use and more stable than before. We are learning together here, so please be patient. If you have questions, please post them here. If you have worked something out and can provide an answer,

I am pretty sure they can also alter the intensity of vibration so assuming it is at 70 - 80% if you get it turned down to say 40% that may help with the rattling sound.
i just had it turned right off and now the exhaustion has worn in the sound is deep and just right for me.

                    • So, where is the best place to go to get Traffic Jam Assist enabled assuming I don't have a friendly dealer ? Or can it be done thru the OBD port ?

Looking good - I had a Lapiz hatch lined up first.

I was actually speaking to Dan yesterday and made sure he looked after your R.

                            • Yeah, I really like the Lapiz. Would likely be the colour I'd go for if I end up getting one.

The grey doesn't look too bad either, though
