Do you know the code to put up all the windows upon locking the car (one press)?

No, I just hold down the lock button and the windows will close.

Thanks - I've added it to the first page. I like to use the remote to adjust the windows to a certain height on warm days when at home so I won't personally use it.

In the first post of this thread, it says...

The HEX-xxx-CAN interface supports most VW/Audi group cars. It is more expensive as it supports the widest range of cars and unlocks a couple of extra features in the VCDS software.
Does anybody know what those extra features are?

The main ones are that you can erase all error codes from all the control modules in one go, whereas in the cheaper one you have to go to each module individually to remove any error codes (might save you up to 5 minutes).

The other is that when logging data while driving, the sample rate is faster with the more expensive cable (i.e. you get more data in smaller time intervals).

See here for more info, or use the Contact Us link on their website to ask them directly.

In Australia, this function is only available on GTIs/GTDs/TSIs with the Park Assist option. Otherwise the car is missing the necessary controllers.

Yeah you can tick the box (I have) but it does nothing since we don't have the hardware for it. I just set both mirrors to respond simultaneously to adjustments (the the knob is pointing to R), and then quickly lower both mirrors in one go while engaging Reverse gear with my other hand.

Thanks guys well I can't see that option on my UK GTD. The terminolgy doesn't look right Mirror lowering in reverse rear the reverse rear part.

Thats a bit over the top Ryan thats a useless feature anyway adjusting both mirrors at the same time, mine are set on individual.

I used to think the same and had them set individually, until someone at VW changed/reset it when the car was serviced. I find very easy to lower both mirrors together as I'm slowing down in preparation to reverse.

If you need to adjust individually, just get the right side how you like it (which moves both), then change to L and fix that side up, since both mirrors only move when it's pointing to R (or drivers side). My only gripe is that the left side doesn't always keep pace with the right side, so when I raise the mirrors again, the left side doesn't go up as much as the right side Perhaps someone else could test this to see if it's just my car.

I was able to activate the Coming Home lighting function & the Emergency Braking Hazard Lights:

(from: VWVortex.com - Emergency Brake Feature with LED tails)

...Unfortunately the 'automatic close windows when locking doors' function (one touch) & the needle sweep are not available to select for my model.

Some very interesting new tweaks have been documented on golfmk6.com here.

                            Amongst the highlights are:
                            • Electronic Differential Lock (XDS) Strength
                            • Torque Steer Compensation (TSC)
                            • Driver Steering Recommendation (DSR)
                            • Brake Assist Threshold Adjustment

The former two in particular look pretty juicy. I've created a thread on them.
