Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled
After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

The new forum software is an upgraded version of what came before, it's mostly the same but also a little different. Hopefully easier to use and more stable than before.
We are learning together here, so please be patient. If you have questions, please post them here. If you have worked something out and can provide an answer,

Just installed my BSH torque mount insert yesterday and gee it feels good to have one again. Previously had the BFI 90a duro one but the vibrations were horrendous so i had to take it out. The BSH one has minimal if any increased vibrations and wheel hop is definately gone! So for anybody looking for a TAI then i wouldnt go past the BSH one

Golf wagon accessories question
G'day,
I just got a new 2011 golf wagon 77tdi and I'm trying to find some accessories. I can't seem to find headlight covers, I've tried eBay. Also would golf window weather guard fit the wagon model. I asked to the eBay seller she didn't know.
Thanks for any help.

Hey Mumbles. I've merged your accessories question with the main accessories thread. You may try doing a search on the specific terms within this thread, but there is some decent information in the first several pages about online stores people get parts from.
Headlight covers don't seem to be too popular these days, so I can't recall a lot of info on these forums about them. My suggestion for both them, and the window weather guards is that you contact your dealer and ask for the part numbers and costs, and then look online for those parts. Specifically comparing the part number of the window guards will comfort whether they're the same or different from the hatch model.
Cheers

Hey Candyman, good the see the gauge arrived! Looks great! Now I though the dimming function was automatic with the dashboard - but it's actually not. Wouldn't mind being able to see what it looks like dimmed (P3 advertise it on their website that its dimmable). Requires you to splice the long green wire into position ten (grey) on headlight switch
Instructions on P3's FB page
I'm not going to bother
You can dim it using the right button (need to do it whenever you start the car)
