        • That's pretty uninspiring imho... maybe it's just because it's black and that makes it hard to tell the diff from stock though. Not a fan of the wheels he's got either, but that's just my taste I guess.

            • You can't really tell on the black R.....I think it looks great on a white version though - Definitely over-priced for an add-on!

Be keen to hear of anyone who's done it... had to laugh when I saw Remus and Silencer in the same sentence, every Remus exhaust I've ever heard wouldn't really qualify as "silence"

                    • So I take it they're quite loud?

I watched a clip of a 2.0T A4 with a Remus and MAN, WAS IT SCREAMING!

After owning a Race-Spec Buddyclub exhaust on my old Honda, I promised myself to never buy an aftermarket exhausts again!

I might have to contact the dealers to see if they have sound clips...

                      • Mate of mine had one on an otherwise stock FD RX-7, sounded like the world coming to an end... They do promise on that page, however, that it's not droney... my stock exhaust is getting droney, so that's a big claim.

                        • Yeah, could be risky - The last thing I want to be stuck with is an Armageddon exhaust!

Would be interesting to hear on an R though...

                          • 6500km and 8 months old I am about to do my first track day in the R. What are thoughts on oil changes? Change before or after the track day? Ok to not change at all? Before and after...?

                            • My only concern would be if they used special oil for running in
                              Otherwise I'd just check levels

I'd be more interested in brake fluids.
Not sure what they use, and if it can deal with prolonged high temps

Good idea to change after your Track Day.
When we've checked oil on Turbo cars after a MRT Track Day it's generally fairly contaminated by fuel.Cheap insurance to change the oil.
Good quality hi-temp brake fluid is advisable, too.
                                Makes quite a difference.
Tyre pressures on road tyres like Bridgestone 050A's should be set at around 38lb HOT.
Do 3-4 laps and come in and bleed them down to 38-ish.
Pads like Ferodo 2500's are a good idea also.
If running standard, just bear in mind that you're driving a production car and don't hammer them to death in 3 laps.....
