Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled
After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.
Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

The new forum software is an upgraded version of what came before, it's mostly the same but also a little different. Hopefully easier to use and more stable than before.
We are learning together here, so please be patient. If you have questions, please post them here. If you have worked something out and can provide an answer,

It may seem a strange request but are there any simple mods to reduce the noise of the Golf R.
My daughter is very unhappy that I wake her each morning when I leave for work and that her whole room vibrates whenever I reverse into the drive.2010 Golf R Black DSG 5Dr MDI Fiscon Plus

1: sell it and buy a Prius (and don't replace it with a GT3 - that's for sure!)
2: park it away from the house
3: sound proof your garage / daughters room
tough one, I'm sure there will be plenty of forum members that will surely help you dispose of it!

There's a process where a 2 part expanding foam is used to spray under floorboards to give heat and sound insulation.
I could give you some names of companies in western sydney, but can't really help with VIC.
Might be worth ringing some roof insulation companies?
Otherwise you could try Urethane wholesalers, as they will supply the chemicals and equipment to the contractors.2010 Golf R - 3dr - Manual - Rising Blue - MDI - SatNav - Milltek TBE
