Might just be fuel going 'stale' and losing some of its potency (if that's possible).SF must be driving too eco.

Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled
After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.
Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

The new forum software is an upgraded version of what came before, it's mostly the same but also a little different. Hopefully easier to use and more stable than before.
We are learning together here, so please be patient. If you have questions, please post them here. If you have worked something out and can provide an answer,

meh.. could be just me.. I just found it to be a little laggy at the low end.. I refill and it isn't there anymore..
Could be the tune.. such a high quality finely developed product potentially senses the availability of high octane fuelGuess those cheap nasty internet tunes don't care

I have had it serviced at VW but not the one the dealer recommends but one that is closer and with different plates.. anyone else had this issue.. I am off to the dealer tomorrow with said service manual and letter to understand what exactly they have done
Secondly I may be off my rocker but more often than not I get the sense once you petrol level drops into the red the car performance is affected.. I find I fill up again and a return to normal progamming occurs. It is nothing dramatic but I just sense it goes into an econo mode

Got to the bottom of that today, apparently I have a complimentary extended warranty provided through the dealship ( limited of course). As I went to another VW service centre and I didn't service within the appropriate time they have informed me that the extended Stealership warranty has been cancelled.. I figured that when I rang around that everyone else was $100 cheaper in servicing costs you were paying for the warranty anyway.. meh I have the 3 year factory warranty so only 2 years to go on that and then off to an independantCurrent Ride: MY 16 Daytona Pearl Grey Audi S3- Performance Pack 1, Sunroof and Driver assist

^ 1500 odd kg with 206kw and 360nm. Not much different to a stage 1 tuned Golf R really in terms of power, torque and weight.
