Well I thought you were complaining it was nose heavy, I am sure without them the performance and handling will be so much better

Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled
After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.
Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

The new forum software is an upgraded version of what came before, it's mostly the same but also a little different. Hopefully easier to use and more stable than before.
We are learning together here, so please be patient. If you have questions, please post them here. If you have worked something out and can provide an answer,

True, but they're not great at containing soft drink when full and driving

need to be put into "service position" in order to do this. but, be careful. have a read of a thread recently posted by a skoda owner and his wipers elsewhere on this forum...More opportunites have been lost from indecision, rather than wrong decision....

Speaking of wiper arms, are they on a spline because I want to move the passengers side down an inch so it tucks under the bonnet more
I've looked at other Golfs and they are the same as mine but there is space for the arm to be moved down further and still provide sufficient wipe across the screen
