You went the wrong way to find middle ground. Should be between 39 and mid-40's for middle ground based on the sticker. Underinflation is very dangerous. This is a silly question but how do the cup holders engage once retracted? Should they automatically engage when u slide open the cover? Mine stay retracted and I can't figure out how to release them?My12 Golf R -DSG, sunroof, vienna leather interior

Just push the bottle opener towards one of the cups to hold it, the 2nd cup might not be as tight (which is presumably why one of them is deeper).Comment

huh? You just slide open the cover and put the drinks in, there are no other mechanisms beside sliding the bottle opener in the middle towards the cup for extra security.
Perhaps you're missing the bottle opener?
