Im guessing BMW X3/X5 then. Probably X5. Or VW Touareg is the only other i can think of. I don't know the SUV's well enough to know which ones are single turbo and which ones are twin turbo though.
Nope. Silvrfoxx you may lose your money, not many other SUVs to choose from...

Ideo: this is my final shortlist, if your new car isn't here then I'm absolutely stumped

    Alfa Mito
    Citroen DS3/DS4/DS5
    Fiat Punto
    Hyundai Veloster
    Peugeot 308

All this rubbish about non-Golf R vehicles.

    Shocking, just shocking.

I tried to turn away from the R (hello C63) but fate brought me back, for now.

Daughter has gone away for a holiday so I get to play with her little Swift. Only a little 1.4 but it is a lot of fun. Tyres deglazed.

See, all this non-Golf R chatter has me in a fluster.

Haha you got me there. Although i drove it on the weekend and it ticked over 19,000km. Hadn't driven it for about 4-5 weeks before that though (had been o'seas on holiday).

SQ5 is a good guess but it is (somewhat unbelievably) cheaper than that

I was collating all the info so far and your post was convenient quote bait

I hate you....im so bad at guessing.

So im thinking it might be a different type of Mini, not the crazy hard riding JCW model. So a more comfortable and slightly slower Mini Cooper S or perhaps a Mini Clubman S.

Mini's are built in the UK (as far as im aware) and although owned by BMW, not actually German sort of...kind of.

The Skoda's are very colour dependent if you ask me. Some of their colours are pretty bland while others are quite bright and exciting.
Yeah, was looking at the Skoda Fabia, but wanted to go a bit different.

The Alfa Giuletta was very nearly my choice, but I just wasn't sold on a few bits and pieces. Hate the 208GTI dashboard, the Fiat 500 is a bit too small and the C30 just didn't float my boat.

    This is fun
