I thought the LEDs looked sweet, not too bright at all. Makes me want to get mine sorted now.

I've just wasted 20secs of my life reading the past few posts. So have you if you're reading this lol.

Considering that the S3 and this engine and drive train has been out for so long already its crazy how long this thread can go .. i think maybe now as its more affordable than the Audi's would be the key factor! More ability to tune as cost isn't as much anymore!

No, they've changed to having a separate resistor box, as per the pictures in the link that you gave in your previous post




Don't worry, that's a positive anyway. Having the resistors in the plastic LED housing is a silly idea... hence why they changed it.

Well I have placed an order for these and the carbon fibre trunk emblem inserts but they want $30 for freight so I am asking if they can do something about that before I complete the order

Thanks mate. Yeah I'm glad I went with the R. Seems like there's a few R owners in the Northern Suburbs. St Helena is my local too.
No doubt I'll talk to you about modding, I went through 5 full exhaust systems in 12 months with the Evo. Not doing that again.

Btw I know how much you want a Milltek system...the UK guys are doing a GB at the moment and the full TBE non resonated system is $2030AUD including insured freight. Have you managed to track someone down with one installed to have a listen

WHOAH! That's a great price!!!! Got a link mate? Nope no luck listening to one yet. I've seen a CW R parked around South Melb with a Milltek once before....was so tempted to wait next to the car just to speak with the owner!
