Scirocco? I'm with Cory on that one. I think they have an ugly rear end. But then, the Megane is an ugly looking creature. But I had considered it originally after reading reviews. Great drivers car, but just too ugly for me!

Scirocco, no leather option - that sucks! VW will miss a lot of market with that one. Though I have heard you can go after market leather and almost perfectly match or better the factory leather for less money. The heated seats and side air bags might be an issue though.

For me - I would nor buy a golf without leather, i fibd it such an improvement over jacky, but that's just me!

Well after living in Europe and seeing roccos all over the place, I would have to say that they are a FAR better looking car externally than the Golf and that rear end looks mean, it grows on you as you see more of them.....unlike middle aged women and Serena Williams.

What I didn't like was the interior, it had a "tacky" feel to it compared to the Golf.

I agree with the leather option thing, but I somehow don't think VW are overly concerned with Aust rocco market at this stage of it's run, I think they are treated it similar to the MK5 GTI Pirelli.

Talk to Candyman, he has just moved from the GTI to the R. He will tell you the only advice you failed to take was to get it in RB
