Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

            Detailed my car on the weekend, I can confirm the 'stupid pizza plate wheel's (as quoted by whistler) are very easy to clean.

            Hey whistler, I hope the break dust on your wheels gets into your finger nails after hours of cleaning and it makes you sick. Keep your useless opinions to yourself!

              LeMans 24hr style dirty.

              All my cars usually have the whole brake dust/roadgrime thing going on...

              I used to see a C63 out near my folks place a bit... it was the gunmetal grey, always filthy with roadgrime, rims black with dust, streaked with bugs.. and it also had a set of hella driving lights on a little bar above the number plate. It looked bloody serious. You just know it has done some extreme high speed stuff, late late at night... Like when I drive MEL-BNE in one hit, Express run styles...
