$62k for ALL options, excluding 19" wheels, but including recaros on a 5 door rising blue.. So DSG, Sunroof, ACC, SNav+Dyn, RVC, MDI, Bluetooth and did I mention RECAROS!
Would rather live without the bigger wheels as they are only a headache as I have learnt from experience... And who wants to spend $500+ on a tyre...
You all suck.. That is the best price to date I think on this forum.Golf R 5 door United Grey | DSG | ACC | Leather | Bluetooth | 19" Talladega Black

Moving away from that crap, out of interest, can the MDI be used to charge a phone? I never actually ordered MDI as I didn't need it so never checked up as to what it could do (they added it to the order by mistake after negotiations hehe). It comes with a female USB socket correct and the only requirement for an additional cable is if you want to use any crapple device?Last edited by dave_r; 19-11-2010, 10:10 AM.

Yes - it can be used to charge a phone. It powers USB flash drives and USB 2.5" hard drives, as it puts out the standard 500mA 5V USB power.
If you plug in your standard Apple cable, it will even charge an iPhone/iPod (but no control - you need the proper MDI - Apple cable for that).MY11 Rising Blue 5dr DSG Golf R

So far I have had three emails/messages from current Golf R buyers that we have sold to, and one that we have not sold to, asking the question "Is $62K possible for that configuration"
Answer - NO, Not even close, its not even possible with Corporate Discount, again, not even close.
The only possible way it could be done is if there was a trade in car, and the dealer is taking a very big hit on the new car but under valuing the trade in by about $6,000 to avoid LCT, which is highly illegal and highly unlikely...
I think Mr Rated R is high on crack, has huge personality complexes or is just out right full of shiiiiiiiiiiittttttt

Believe what you like... Dealers have different motivations with dealing with different people... The deal is done, invoice in front of me... It was not a cold call order, it was through a connection dating back to previous cars I have bought... I wont disclose anything else or the dealer...
