evening all!

just put my order in today (or yesterday) and i'm quite excited

5 door white golf R + dsg and just your standard trimmings (ACC, bluetooth, MDI, leather, sunroof, black 19's, satnav, tints) for under 65k

hopefully it comes soon, had a blast testing the brakes on the sucker out, i was hesitant on how it would stop after driving around with brembo's for so long and alas, i was surprised

I was told there was a backlog of 40-50 orders... Not sure if they are all R's, but I am not prepared to wait endlessly without a firm delivery date. I imagine I am not the only one pulling out.

I am back... Cancelled order... But reordered through another dealership... Can deliver for March...

$62k for ALL options, excluding 19" wheels, but including recaros on a 5 door rising blue.. So DSG, Sunroof, ACC, SNav+Dyn, RVC, MDI, Bluetooth and did I mention RECAROS!

Would rather live without the bigger wheels as they are only a headache as I have learnt from experience... And who wants to spend $500+ on a tyre...

You all suck.. That is the best price to date I think on this forum.

Yeah, pass... A family member has ordered a new Cayenne Turbo... Ceramic brake option alone covers nearly half the cost of my R... Common sense anyone?

Cost me nothing to cancel order... It said on the contract that if they couldn't deliver by contract date within 30 days I could pull out with full deposit refund... So I did!
