Picked my R up yesterday.
Must say it is the most pleasurable car to drive and I think regardless of cash i couldnt ask for anthing better. Simply freaking awesome!
Smooth, fast, comfortable, quiet, yet when you put your foot down, the sound...oh the sound. It's slightly addictive. Now I get what the r32 guys are on about with their even better exhaust note.
Either way to all of you waiting for your cars to arrive, you are going to absolutely love it when you get it.

Well... Today i Received a pic of my car sitting in the pick-up area within the showroom. Looks amazing! Then received a phone call from my dealer with some bad news.. A small scratch has been spotted above the wheel arch.
Apparently VW HQ took photos of it today and have approved a touch up repair. They a claiming this occurred at the factory.
I'm not letting the news affect the hype. It's a scratch. It can be fixed.
