Well had the GTI for 3 days absolutely wrapped , gave it some stick today , most impressed by the tricky diff , no understeer , no loss of traction coming out of a fast corner .

The build quality is most impRressive , much better than the RS , and that sound its addictive .

No it was petrol manual , the GTI is a more responsive motor just as quick as the RS with apr stage 1 , i will take it out tomorrow on some B roads to compare the torque at high speed , but round town the GTI is more nimble ,lighter weight helps, nicer motor , my RS was the o pre FL motor .
Your RS would be the new motor , have a nice time friday zoom zoom.

I had exactly the same scenario, wanted carbon steel but the wait was so long I settled on a white GTI. You're right, it does look great.

I found the reverse scenario - i was struggling to find a candy white in stock around Sydney, so ended up getting a carbon steel from wollongong

Expecting delivery on Mon or Tues - cant wait!
