Dealer just told me - mine has cleared customs - now needs to use it's gsp to get to Adelaide. Excitement is mounting. Great news for you guys. My dealer told me it would only be about 10 days from docking to delivery. There would be a a few things that could go wrong I guess but it's worked out good for you guys..tornado red GTI MkVI, 5dr, DSG, Sat Nav, RVC, MDI.

Great news for me!! The dealer actually called me this time (as opposed to me having to cal them) and they told me I can pick up my baby on Monday at 2.30. Gotta love taking time off work to pick up my new car. After all the inspections and such it is straight to the Ventureshield dealer to get my car wrapped and coated. Mine arrived on 29th and when I rang the dealer last Friday (7th) it had just arrived at their compound.
I went to check it out, but it was locked away. Anyway, I have been speaking to them this week and I can pick it up at noon this Friday.
An extra long weekend for me with a new toy !!!Redman.

Since I ordered mine in April, I can only recall seeing 2 Mk6 GTI's on the road. A Carbon Steel one in Exhibition St (parked behind me, so I checked it out!) and one the other day on the Monash - a white one with Detroits and it looked great.
