mine is mid may (being told by my delear in VIC) too so i am guessing will be on the same ship too, however i think by the time customes clear and the rest of the jazz it could well be start of june...

i checked Vessel status just now, if your car on that ship, you will receive it in mid may, Adelaide first stop, then Melbourne

well since i live in adelaide would they ship the car first to the dealer then from dealer to me on a truck or.....seems a bit of a futile cycle!

checked my vin number, he is on his way to melbourne, ETA 17 May, cannt take my breath now... so exciting, thanks to my dealer, they kept their promise to delivery the car before my wedding.

Hey wdong, my dealer has just called me and advised that my GTI is on its way today, which I guess, would be on the same boat as yours .....I haven't got the VIN yet, but is the ETA you received from the dealer or via the web tracking? Does anyone now how long it takes to get from the docks to the dealer?....oh, the waiting!

Yeah but i have to sort out the corp discount and money first! So might take a bit longer!!

Yeah, i joined up the particular group before i bought the car and am still waiting for the membership card. I have the member number though.

i did not receive the vin but ring them and asked for it, then they gave me the vin, and i input my vin via track website, found the status.

Well i went and saw the colour, i had my doubts on the CSG after seeing some white ones, but man i love the colour!! The 17's look great as well!

Saw a few black ones as well. Saw a 3 door black one with 18s if that is anyones.

My dealer just got in a CSG with 18's and it sure is a nice colour! Your going to have a sweet ride.

First and foremost, congrats to kennyc.

I rang the dealership today and they emailed me an updated version of the schedule, they finished building my car yesterday and leaving the production plant today!!! They have also provided me with a VIN number WHOO HOO. My baby is now due to land in Melbourne on the 16th July with a delivery early July
