As for the front tyre, it seems the car was actually heading in the opposite direction when the rear axle forced the car into a sharp left spin, loading the whole weight of the car onto the front right tyre and also the front bumper. Hi Guys, It was bound to happen sooner or later but luckily it took 17 months which reduces the pain somewhat. Noticed a little bit of kerb rash on the front spoiler just under the foglight. I didn't even notice when it happened so a light scrape about 6 inches long. It is barely noticable but it is to me... Problem is the car is deep pearl black so looks like a powder trace. Anyone got any tips on reducing the visual or do we just get used to these minor blemishes? Cheers
5 months in... random projectile hit the door. I think it was a passing car type pinching a rock that smacked my car... it's these little ones that hurt... stands out like a sore thumb. How would i go about repairing?!!

That is a good whack. I got rear ended when I had my GTI. Totally destroyed the front end of the guy that hit me and did virtually nothing to the GTI - bumper replacement, bar replacement and repainted. Never did feel the same though even though it was all tested etc.

So there I was minding my own business last night, and stopped at a red light. I was the first and only car there. Two @#$# crossed the road BEHIND my car and one of them made contact with my car with some sort of object. At that time, it sounded like he may have accidentally hit my car with a watch or something. So I drove off without taking much notice of it. It was only when I got out I found a scratch which was almost 15cm - that could hardly be accidental! If anyone manages to find those people, please teach them a lesson for me!
