This did work in the Passat and is the same procedure for the MKVI. Was pretty easy.

        Needle Sweep

        Hi guys,

Got got APR stage 1 installed today Booyeh
My mechanic turn off my DRL/Bi-Xenon through Vagcom today, so happy bcos my Bi-Xenon was on 24/7 and my dealer was useless they say it cannot be switch off. Anyway I want my mechanic to put needle sweep on for me but he hasn't got the code for it. Has anyone out there has the code for Needle sweep? eg what number bytes and etc?? Also my car do not have option of mirror down. Is it possible to put that code into the car via Vagcom??

        Thank guys

With the mirror down - i assume you're talking about the side mirrors.. AFAIK they can only do that when park assist is optioned only. Don't think you can VAG-COM it to work.

Has anyone out there got this working on the MK6 TSI? I am picking up my vehicle in a few days time and would love to have this feature enabled. I talked to my dealer about this but he flatly refused to do it for me.

You might want to edit that use the correct term Vagcom or the new name VCDS.

And he's far more likely to find a man who has a VCDS cable to assist him

                      Dancing needles

Is it true that the dancing needles add about 11kw but have been disabled in Australia because of our tropical climate.
You know you are getting old when you cancel your order for a 3.6 CC and buy an Icelandic Gray TDI CC instead.

Tried this myself today and it worked fine.

Also extended the auto indicator to 4, turned on rear wiper teardrop, fog cornering lights and rain sensing window closing. All seemed to work well.

Question. I dont see a boost pressure sensor to log or graph that data.... Any ideas?

That is just plainly eroneous misinformed and stupid post. Everybody knows that dancing needles add 11kw BUT they have been disabled in Australia due to our poor fuel.

How to extend the auto indicator to 4? I also felt 3 was a bit too short... I've done the rear wiper teardrop and rain sensing window+sunroof close...
Haven't done the fog cornering lights yet but I think I know where to find the long coding for that...

Just haven't found the auto indicator increase thing
