Yeah - that's an awesome price. I calculate around $6200 discount, which is still around 11%. Great for not having corporate discount.

It's probably about a $5,000 discount if the dealer delivery is where it should be at $1,995

Remember guys alot of dealerships are artificially inflating their dealer deliveries up to $2,995 or $3,995 so it looks like you get a bigger discount.

You are both correct essentially. In this example they calculate the DD at $2995 so it's a ~ $6k 11% discount.

Yeah, it's annoying! I use the $2995 figure in that spreadsheet I created as it seems more dealers are quoting that than not!

Seriously though... we should start a thread to shame the dealers that are quoting $3995 - that's ridiculous!

Have not ordered yet, am still crunching some figures.... I was told a delivery time of 3mths - so around end of April early May...

It's pretty damn big that's for sure.

My car was $57k without corporate discount - not entitled to one. This car is $51k with corporate discount.

The main differences between the two cars are; Leather for $3k, Park Assist for $1500 and the corporate discount of about $1500.

Camera on his and Metallic on mine cancel each other out. So it's on about par with my own discount except the toe bar puts it over.

The wife an I really liked the Jacky interior with the Candy White ,with the red and white stitch in the seat's really matches the red trim on the outside .
Not fussed with metallic/mica paints and if I can't park a Golf i shouldn't be driving .
