Mk6 GTI - not far away now!

I saw this same car today to in Surry Hills, they look really nice in the flesh...

Looking at the pictures of the car, it's hard pressed to see that it is a GTI, but in real life, it is much more distinctive and more easily recognisable as a GTI

I agree, i noticed it while i was driving, and i was a few cars in front of it, i snapped a quick pic on my phone and then he 'zoomed' off.

Ah ok, he (or she) was in the lane next to mine. I first noticed it in my side view mirror. Unfortunately, they didn't let me in when I was stuck behind a bus, so it just zoomed off..

yep, 5dr mk 6 white gti with xenons, leather, dsg.

if anyone wants to go carspotting, VW head office is in that street so you should see one

I originally thought only the 5dr was coming down under as well (Wheels mag or TopGear). I guess the decision to (stupidly) not bring the scirocco means they've changed their minds about the 3dr GTI.

Looks like Mascot VW and the RTA across the road from there is the place to hang out right this moment :p
